We juxtaposed refined elements with playful moments to create an airy, beautiful, and light-hearted atmosphere. Rather than going with the common, expected blues for a beach wedding, we were inspired by the green of the bay and the lush greenery found at the Chesapeake Bay Hyatt in spring. J’Adorn Designs supplied green druzy earrings and A. Griffin Events hand-dyed green silk ribbons and supplied greenery for the cake and tablescape. Flower Bud Florals created a greenery-laden bouquet and centerpiece.

We selected natural elements like driftwood, linen, shells, eucalyptus, and asparagus fern to contribute to the laid back feel. Nicole’s natural make-up and loose braid complemented the crop top bridal ensemble by Uplinger Poppy Bridal. A silver champagne bucket, etched glass coupes, and Tiffany cufflinks completed the candle-lit champagne toast on a Turkish linen blanket. Playful moments were built in throughout the day including a break for skipping rocks and dancing in the gazebo at the end of the pier.
