Any fan of the Chronicles of Narnia will love this magical and wintry styled elopement by Charlotte Allegra Photography and snowberry event + design! From the stylist: “As the stylist, my goal was to create a magical, romantic scene reminiscent of the setting of my favorite childhood book: The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, by C.S. Lewis. I’ve always been enchanted by the magic of a snowy landscape. There is something mysterious, something that beckons, in the silent beauty of a land beset with snow. I love the stately elegance of evergreen trees and their contrast to the crisp white snow. I chose a dusty blue color to complement dark green and brass. Aslan, the mighty lion, is represented by the brass lion figurines and the lion’s head brooch on the bouquet. The bow and arrow was a favorite detail; the bride had such fun posing for those shots! And of course we had to have a lamp post, complete with brown paper packages tied in white string! The bride’s dress was custom made by a seamstress in Ukraine, and the groom’s vest was handmade by a lovely artisan in New Jersey. Our flowers were designed by the talented Cynthia Mercer of Your Flower Friends and are appropriately wildly elegant with mixed foliage and romantic white ranunculus.”
