Navy and Merlot Wooded Wedding Inspiration

Ffrom Lisa Hammond Photography LLC and Forever and A Day Events and Design: “I wanted this to be very fall inspired, capturing the changing of the leaves while still having that elegant aesthetic. The tablescape had an eye-catching seeded eucalyptus garland, which was accented with standard roses, David Austin roses and anemones. The chargers and china from The Rental Company were a bold and dark addition next to the bright florals. The navy taper candles were my favorite addition, they were bold and stood tall from the table. The dessert buffet by Ginger Bakes was another personal favorite. The navy base of the cake with the edible gold accent tier perfectly captured the edgy elegance vibe of the shoot. The light blue and white macarons were a necessary complement to the statement cake. The bride’s dress, from Renee Austin Wedding, was the perfect combination of edgy with the navy lace top and elegant with the white ruffled skirt. Her makeup was done flawlessly with the bold wine lip and smokey eye. The braided half-up updo by Krystle Waivio Hair was done beautifully and was accented with flowers. The groom’s attire, from Dunhill Tuxedo, was a classic navy suit paired with a gray vest and wine red tie and pocket square. The calligraphy seating chart accented with matching florals and table numbers by Lief Design were gorgeous details. The invitation suite was handcrafted by Centennial Avenue with watercolor florals, marble navy accents, a gorgeous vellum sleeve and finished off with a floral belly band and silk ribbon from Tono and Co. The day was captured beautifully by Lisa Hammond Photography. This shoot showcases how elegance can come in many different forms; bold colors are beautiful for fall weddings but do not always need to be dark. Lisa did an amazing job of photographing the light and airiness of the shoot all the while capturing the bold accents in every element.”
