Haley and Matt’s wedding at the Fox Hall Clubhouse in Richmond was a bright and cheerful day in shades of coral and turquoise – the perfect colors for a summer celebration! They met in college as students at James Madison University and began their junior year as First Year Orientation Guides. They spent the first week of their junior year together playing ice breaker games, attending required book talks, and (mostly unwillingly) participating in other orientation activities. They ended up falling out of touch for some time, but their story didn’t stop there. While riding the bus home after class, Haley and Matt reconnected and discovered that they lived across the street from each other. After a happy birthday Facebook post and a few texts back and forth, they decided to go out for Valentine’s Day, and the rest is history. Seven years later these two tied the knot, and Nicki Metcalf Photography captured their day!
