Jennifer is truly a remarkable DIY bride – she planned a wedding with 325 guests on a $10,000 budget over the course of her 5-month engagement, plus she made every decoration! She calls her wedding style “Vintage Italian Romantic.” She and Alex married in January at the Vintage Faith Church (the church Jennifer attended in college), followed by a reception at the Santa Cruz Portuguese Hall with her handmade vintage teapot centerpieces, table signs featuring the names of Italian cities, and her creative cake toppers. Jennifer did all her own dress alterations and made her sash, bow and reception veil. She also made her bridesmaids’ jewelry and styled her hair! Jennifer is half Italian, so her Nonna and family catered the entire event with family recipes, including their delicious pasta. A friend of Alex and Jennifer’s conducted the service, and another friend made the cake and FunFetti cupcakes. Her brother and his friends were the DJs for the evening, and the maid of honor and best man sang and played the music for their first dance, “Lovely Tonight” by Joshua Radin.
