Connie and Steve’s June wedding at Wood Acres Farm in Terryville, Connecticut, had so many sentimental DIY details. Connie’s garter belonged to her grandma, and all of the bouquets were put together by her aunt. The maid of honor and Connie’s aunt also made all of the jewelry, while a friend created her hairpiece. Steve wore his grandfather’s cufflinks and tie clip to their ceremony overlooking a lake. The reception décor and design were DIY, too; the flower pot centerpieces were grown from seeds from Connie’s grandmother. The guests were treated to homemade beer and truffles as favors and enjoyed homemade cupcakes during the reception.
