Alyssa and Adam’s summer wedding in Northern Michigan was filled with anticipation and excitement! Adam and his guys spent the morning relaxing at the Grand Traverse Resort with beers in hand and laughter to go around. Meanwhile, Alyssa and her girls prepped at her parents’ residence overlooking a breathtaking view of Torch Lake, dressed in gorgeous floral robes. The bride had an emotional first look with her father; crying tears of joy before she reached him, the two embraced and the strong connection of a father-daughter bond was completely evident. Likewise, the bride and groom shared an intimate, cherished first look that was greater than their wildest dreams. Adam waited patiently as his bride approached, anticipation growing and heart pounding. Once he turned around, Alyssa seemingly floated across the lawn to him and felt as if “it was just the two of us alone standing still in time reflecting on all of the love that brought us to that moment and sharing in the excitement of all the love that was still to come.” Adam’s dad officiated the service, and everything was heartfelt and simply unforgettable. The first look with my Dad was very emotionally overwhelming in the best sort of way. To approach my Daddy facing the sparkling waters of Torch Lake, his favorite place on this Earth, as he waited anxiously to see his little girl was a snapshot in time I will forever remember. We will always remember the happiness, joy, and excitement everyone shared with us as we celebrated with cocktails, dinner, and dancing at our reception.
