A rustic DIY farm wedding in Texas

I‘m consistently amazed by all the talented couples out there pulling off truly spectacular DIY backyard weddings! Rachel and Brett did just about everything themselves for their October wedding with family and friends in Texas. Rachel even made her own dress – unbelievable, right?! Powerhouse Studios snapped some fabulous shots of Rachel and Brett's outdoor fête, including all the rustic details.

The wedding was held at the home of a friend, and everyone pitched in. I just love all the chalkboard signs, don't you? And the bathtub filled with ice and drinks? Brilliant! Friends made delicious-looking pies and cookies, and after the ceremony, they had a picnic on the lawn complete with a doughnut-eating contest (so cute), a tire swing and a three-legged race!
