Cory and Jeff chose Bainbridge Island for their July wedding because they met in Seattle, the center of their romance. They love to travel, so a destination wedding made perfect sense, and their theme included all things travel: a map for guests to sign where they came from, wild flower seeds as favors for each area of the country, and photos from their travels together. The couple chose not to have a wedding party, but their siblings stood with them at the altar, and Cory's brother walked her down the aisle. A.J. Dunlap Photography did a beautiful job capturing their Bainbridge Island celebration.
Perhaps the happiest moment of the day was listening to my new husband toast not me, but all our guests. Every single one of them, he said, had inspired, touched, supported, and grown us in their own unique way, whether they knew it or not. Having the wedding overlooking the Puget Sound, amongst tall trees, at a beautiful old home – we thought we were highlighting the beauty of the Pacific Northwest for our guests. But truly, I couldn't look further than the faces of the people who meant the most to us, supporting us in this new adventure of marriage. – Cory
