Afternoon

Have lunch at Enjoy Just Falafel, where you can enjoy (you guessed it) amazing falafel! Continue the half-mile walk to the National Archaeological Museum, which houses some of the most important and beautiful artifacts from Greek history.

Evening

Head over to Seychelles for a cozy dinner with delicious portions large enough to give you a food coma. Walk across the street to the Blue Parrot for cocktails out on the moonlit patio. Be sure to catch up on your sleep tonight—there’s a full day planned for tomorrow.

Morning

Have a quick breakfast at the hotel, where guests can enjoy complimentary coffee and cookies. (Who would say no to that?!) A 20-minute drive takes you to the port of Piraeus to board your all-day boat cruise to the Saronic islands.

Afternoon

Soak in the waterfront views on your first island destination—Poros! Enjoy a Greek feast on the cruise boat as you head to Hydra. There you can tour the cathedral, admire the mansions and browse the local shops for souvenirs.

Your final destination is Aegina, where you can relax with a pre-dinner coffee or glass of wine. On your way back to Athens, you’re treated to a Greek folklore show with traditional music and dancing.

Evening

After a night on the sea, enjoy the rooftop views of the Balcony Restaurant and Bar on your way back to the hotel. Split the black angus beef skewer—it is literally a hunk of beef on a massive blade. The juices from the beef drizzle down as a sauce for the vegetables and potatoes beneath it.

Morning

Sleep in after a long 2nd day and grab a quick bite with a hot or cold coffee across the street at Mikel’s. Then head back to the hotel where a tour guide will take you on a 3-hour sightseeing tour.

Afternoon

Hit all the highlights of Athens by exploring the mighty Acropolis, the Parthenon temple of Athena and the Panathenaic stadium where the first modern Olympics were held. You’ll also drive by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Temple of Olympian Zeus, and other must-see places.

Evening

A 15-minute bus ride takes you to the neighborhood of Plaka—filled with adorable tavernas and shops. Enjoy a romantic French dinner over a bottle of wine at L’Audrion. Walk a few blocks over to Da Vinci Gelato for dessert.

Morning

Hop an early morning ferry to Paros, an island in the Aegean Sea. There you’ll arrive in Parikia, the island’s main port. Check into your balcony view room at the Sunset View Hotel, just a 10-minute walk from the port. Rent a buggy and drive to Livadia Beach where you walk around and soak in the sun before lunch.

Afternoon

If you’re spending the day by the water, you may as well enjoy fresh grilled fish at Piso Livadi. From there, a 20-minute drive to Santa Maria Beach where you spend a couple of hours windsurfing on the private sector of the beach.

Evening

On your drive back, stop at Restaurant Flora. Open a bottle of wine and enjoy the breathtaking views overlooking Paros.

Morning

Enjoy a meal at the hotel before your day of hiking and exploring. First stop, Butterflies Valley where you can see butterflies of all sizes, shapes and colors. The butterflies are only there a few months a year so it’s rare if you get to observe them.

Afternoon

A 30-minute drive takes you to Paros Park, where you spend the next 2 hours hiking along 3 marked trails on the island’s shore. Not only will you see the beautiful view of the coast but also the Korakas Lighthouse.

Evening

After walking around for a few hours, hop on a horse and enjoy a sunset tour along the northern seaside, on the beach and the mountainous Byzantine Trail of Lefkes. You may be tired from a long day, but you have to eat at Les Amis for some amazing Mediterranean food. Did we mention it’s a wine bar? Try the blue chardonnay. (You read that right.)

Day 6: Santorini

Sunset from Oia castle

Morning

Another day, another ferry. Destination: Santorini, also called the romantic island. You’ll spend the next few nights at Villa Libertad—a family-run hotel with an amazing breakfast.

Afternoon

The village of Oia is just a 20-minute drive. Your afternoon is spent at the Lioyerma Lounge Café Pool Bar with a drink (or two) in your hand. Just a few hours before sunset, enjoy the beautiful lighting and take photos of all the white-washed buildings.

Evening

Any restaurant near the Byzantine Castle is the best place to catch the sunset. Book a table at Kastro and plan to stay a while. The view is definitely worth the wait.

Day 7: Santorini

Morning

Drive a few minutes down the road to the Anastasi Orthodox Church where you’ll recognize the blue dome roof matches many other buildings around Santorini. Take a hike to Skaros Rock overlooking the cliffs, blue waters and buildings.

Afternoon

After the hike stop at Let’s Eat for lunch, because you have to enjoy a traditional gyro in Greece! Freshen up at the hotel before your next adventure starts—a 4-hour private wine tasting tour. Sample organic local wines at three different wineries.

Evening

What’s wine without pasta? Have a romantic Italian dinner at Da Vinci’s. Take a 3-minute walk to Galini for a relaxing cup of coffee and a dessert crepe before calling it a night.

Day 8: Santorini

Grab a quick breakfast at the hotel before a bus picks you up for your all-day catamaran cruise. Make sure to bring your swimsuit and lots of sunscreen!

Afternoon

The cruise includes a trip to the Island of Nea Kameni—a still active volcano. You’ll also take a dip at the Palea Kameni Hot Springs. Back on the cruise ship, enjoy a Greek barbecue feast before jumping straight into the water for snorkeling.

Evening

Your cruise ends just before dinner so you can admire the sunset from the sea. A private dinner awaits you at Le Moustache, a Greek restaurant on the water.

Day 9: Santorini

Kamari Beach

Morning

The 20-minute drive to breakfast is totally worth it at Brusco. Sit outside and enjoy the feel of the small village around you.

Afternoon

Your afternoon is all about relaxation at Kamari Beach. Rent out deckchairs and an umbrella for a more private experience. Right on the beach is Vinsanto, a Greek restaurant with a refreshing summer salad.

Evening

Many movies were filmed in Santorini (Lara Croft Tomb Raider, Summer Lovers, and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants) so why not end your honeymoon at Santorini’s Open Air Cinema. And don’t worry, you won’t be saying “It’s all Greek to me!”

The outdoor movie theater shows movies in English and subtitled in Greek. Grab a drink at the on-site bar and relax for the rest of the evening.
