What better place for a glam, old Hollywood-inspired styled shoot than a glitzy vintage car museum? Drew Brashler Photography and Your Jubilee transformed The G Collection into something straight out of Hollywood’s golden era! The museum was built to house the private collection of Scott Gauthier, internationally acclaimed jewelry designer and car collector. It serves as a full restoration shop for his collection as well as a private event space. The venue features many special surprises, including dozens of vintage, unique and collectible cars, as well as a movie theater, its own bar and collections of vintage perfume bottles, beer cans and lighters. The car collection and the dramatic feel of the space inspired furs, bold lips, elegant florals and impactful design. With a backdrop of suspended vintage cars, a trio of seating spaces was created for the ceremony. Giant eight-foot-tall cherry blossom trees flanked the alter along with flowing arrangements nestled onto the vehicle shelving, and custom lighting added depth to the walls!
A vintage car museum styled shoot in Scottsdale, AZ
The bride wore a gown with an invisible neckline and headpiece from Lillian Lottie Couture, while the bridesmaid complemented her in a champagne gown with jeweled detailing from Laurie’s Bridal. Decadent fur capelets from Evans Furs provided added luxury. Hair and makeup styling stayed true to the vintage glamour theme. The men’s tuxes were provided by Celebrity Tux and Tails. One of a kind pieces by Jewelry By Gauthier were worn by the whole bridal party including gold convertible car cuff-links.
A gorgeous wooden bar was placed in front of a wall of vintage beer cans for a whiskey tasting hosted by The Second Story Liquor Bar during cocktail hour. Silver pedestal high top tables brought a little added glamour to the space.
The combination of wooden round tables with polished nickel X-back chairs enhanced the style of the reception. More trees dripping with florals gave the space a little whimsy while the unique, glitzy centerpieces added elegance. Table settings were made up of crystal and gold goblets, candlesticks and porcelain china from Fancy Lou. Atop the plates, each guest was treated to a petite bottle of Jameson resting atop their napkin. A unique touch was the champagne pouring, in lieu of a cake cutting, atop dazzling sequin linens.
The venue certainly provided the inspiration for the design, but the creative team really captured the vintage Hollywood glamour we were going for. In a wedding world currently overflowing with romance and whimsy, it was fun for us to play with glamour and bold opulence. – Ashley, Your Jubilee
