Ashleigh and Joe got married in July at a lovely historic cottage called the Stone House, built in the late 1800s as a bunkhouse for quarry workers. This was Ashleigh’s dream wedding location; the property at the Temecula Creek Inn is so romantic, surrounded by century-old oak trees – the perfect spot for an al fresco summer wedding! After several years of dating, Joe asked for her parents’ permission to marry her, and then proceeded to plan an elaborate scheme to “take her to lunch” near the venue. After lunch, he mentioned that he wanted to see this spot she loved so much, and when they got to the very spot the altar would be, he got down on one knee and proposed to her! Her parents were already waiting at the venue office knowing she would say yes, and they booked the wedding for them that day at her dream location.
