A budget DIY wedding in Lakeview, MI

Lynzie and Justin were married on a chilly spring day in Michigan at their local community church. Everything was DIY, from the place settings to the handmade flowers – the bride and groom even wrote and performed their own song during the ceremony! Lynzie, her mom and sister spent the weekends leading up to the wedding scouring antique shops, thrift stores and yard sales for unique china place settings and lanterns for the tables. She and Justin worked together to make their flowers from vintage sheet music. The girls and the guys all got their wedding duds in an awesome palette of gray and yellow at Target. To save on the fresh flowers, they chose what was in season (tulips) and purchased them at Sam’s Club. Meg Darket Photography captured their DIY wedding on a budget!
